Style Keeps Time
A private Instagram proof using three different, documented archive photographs.
Before the music comes the entrance. The opening image is Miles Davis at Schiphol in 1982: hat low, coat precise, sunglasses doing their architectural work. It then moves back to two separate Library of Congress photographs—an intimate 1947 club scene and an earlier Downbeat ensemble—so the carousel changes its evidence as it changes its thought.
This revised proof makes no claim about a designer, a private wardrobe or a specific musical recording. It is a public-image study built only from what the documented photographs can show.
Source note
The Schiphol photograph is shared by Nationaal Archief via Wikimedia Commons under CC0 1.0. The two Gottlieb photographs are in the public domain through the Library of Congress’s William P. Gottlieb Collection. The Library of Congress advises that rights of privacy and publicity may still apply; that caveat remains in the release record.
